Order Approval and Submission

Approval Process:

All purchases must be approved by your department budget technician before order submission. 

No orders will be accepted by anyone other than the site Principal, Administrative Secretary, Department Head or site Budget Technician. 

"Please note that program funds will not be approved for luncheons, potlucks, and non- staff, (Volunteer and parent meals) without prior board approval."

Order Submission:

Orders will not be accepted via phone or email. 

All orders must be placed through the online store.

Blackout Dates: May apply due to high demand or other departmental needs, some dates and times may be completely booked and unavailable for any service options. If your desired date and or time is not available, please select the next available date.

Scheduling: The type and size of the function typically determine the time requirements.

Recommended Booking Procedures:

For events with 25 or more guests: Book at least 10 business days in advance. 

For events with fewer than 25 guests: Book at least 5 business days in advance. 

Late orders (less than 3 business days in advance) will incur a $35 fee.

 Guarantee final guest count is required three working days before the event. This is your guarantee. Final billing will be based on the guaranteed number or actual attendance, whichever is greater. 

Cancellation: Please notify us as early as possible if a cancellation is necessary. We can usually avoid charges unless products have already been purchased. Each situation will be reviewed individually.

 Special Needs: An additional $50 fee applies for events scheduled for delivery or pick up before 7:00 a.m. or after 2:30 p.m. Tables, tablecloths, decorative centerpieces, and floral arrangements are the responsibility of the customer. Tablecloths are available for rental. We can accommodate special dietary requests; please contact us in advance for more information.

 Delivery or Pick-Up: 

Delivery cost: $30. Starting the 2024-2025 school year, all catering food and items for school site events will be delivered to the school's main cafeteria. 

Alternatively, you may pick up your order from the catering kitchen located at Summit High School in the H building between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at no charge. All catering equipment must be returned to Summit High School within two business days.

Invoice & Payment: All invoices are due within 10 days of receipt. Prompt return of invoices is essential for timely processing. Thank you for your cooperation.

Payment Methods:

Check or Money Order:

Must be submitted on or before the day of the event. Must include a copy of the invoice along with money order or check in an envelope labeled: Food Services Catering, Attn: Karen Abel 

Please Note: Cash payments will not be accepted.

Program Funds:

If paying with program funds, please provide the following documentation: 

 Event agenda. 

Attendee sign-in sheet.

 Approved signature on the invoice.

Donation Policy: Please be advised that Fontana Unified School District Food Services is prohibited from making any donations for events.
